Our Services
UMBP was created to identify needs and propose solutions that will impact the businesses in Europe's most impoverished country. We strive to find the most impactful way to make a difference in the economic state and business operations. Only 52% of businesses in Moldova reported that it is easy to conduct business in their country. We aim to change that by giving start-ups the resources they need to succeed.
Consulting & Business Services
Since the inception of UMBP, we have helped over 45 companies in need of consulting services. We have created a strategic social media plan for a leading law firm, conducted market entry research for a large cafe chain and helped launch an e-commerce site for a women's dress retailer.
Commercial Lending
Receiving financing is a huge barrier to starting a business in Moldova. We have approved several small successful loans and are looking to develop this aspect of the Partnership even more.
Business Education Events
We recognize the importance of making business education accessible so that all business leaders are able to lead responsibly and successfully.
IT Development & Coding Courses
The IT industry in Moldova is growing rapidly and creating jobs. Our partnership with Code to Success and Bottega allows us to bring quality computer programming education to aspiring coders in Moldova. We also help and consult businesses in use of technology.

Our Chisinau team of interns is looking to help companies and organizations through business consulting.
Our multidisciplinary team can help with marketing, social media presence, advertising, entrepreneurship principles, market research, website creation, event planning, data visualizations, data/database cleaning and organizing, predictive modeling, and forecasting.
The Utah Moldova Business Partnership was created in 2015 by Clark Ivory and Walter Plumb III. They both had the vision to realize that there is huge potential in the Republic of Moldova for economic development. If given the resources, the people in Chisinau could succeed in enormous ways in their business ventures. They began sponsoring teams of interns each year to find businesses that were ready to take the next steps and just needed a little more financing, a few more ideas, or those last connections. In 2018, the partnership expanded to include Code to Success programming courses. Each year the partnership has grown both in size and in impact, and it is continually looking for more ways to help the entrepreneurs of the Republic of Moldova.

[The Partnership] taught us that sometimes we need to do the things that we don't want to do, but need to do because the moment requires it. All the interns and leaders of the UMBP have been of great help to us and our company; they are true examples. In regards to our business, we have had multiple meetings throughout the past 3 years. These meetings have helped us to better understand where we should be focused, the direction in which we need to go, and what it will take for us to reach our full potential and gain success.
